Marge Organo is a distinguished Filipino visual artist renowned for her mastery of optical glass sculpture. After exploring various artistic disciplines, she found her niche in glass—a medium that sets her apart in the contemporary Philippine art scene. She has trained under some of the world’s most respected glass artists, including at The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass in New York, USA and The Secondary School of Glassmaking in Kamenicky Senov in the Czech Republic.
Never resting on her accomplishments, Marge Organo remains persistent in creating art that is experiential, interactive and constantly changing, and in these ways, may bring about a state of reverie or trance in the viewer. Though mostly poetic in conception, her works have a strong scientific bent; and resolving technically difficult problems in glass sculpture-making has been a hallmark of her lustrous career.
Organo's sculptures, have been exhibited in prestigious venues such as Solaire Resort and Casino and The Westin Manila, which now also form part of these hotels’ permanent art collections, as well as leading galleries in Metro Manila. Her works are sought after by collectors both locally and internationally.
Beyond her exhibitions, Organo continues to push the boundaries of glass artistry. This year, the gallery is set to launch a 350-page coffee table book chronicling a decade of her work from 2014 to 2024, offering an in-depth look into her artistic evolution and achievements.
